3rd and 4th Grade Team

Weeks 1-4

Third and fourth graders on the middle team focused on team work in the first four weeks of robotics. Students got to know one another and played games to learn one another's names and learn more about one another. Team building challenges helped develop effective collaboration and communication skills. As well, the team learned about the engineering process through different challenges such as Marshmallow Architecture and Marble Rollercoaster. Most recently, students began to use the two LEGO robots the team will be using this year: EV3 Mindstorm and Spike Prime.
