Build a snowman or snow animal in your garden or in the park. Take photos to document how he melts. 📷

Build a sledge for one of your toys out of household and junk materials and push them down a hill. How fast does it go? Can you think of ways to make it go faster?

Work on your throwing skills by throwing snowballs at a target. Try to step further and further away to work on increasing the distance of your throw. You could film a video of your skills to send to your teacher if you want to.

Write in the snow. Add food colouring to a spray bottle filled with water, or use a paintbrush, and make some designs in the snow.

Become a detective and search for animal footprints in the snow. Which animals do you think they are?

You could use the identification key from the RSPB to see if you can work out which animals you have tracked.
