Industrial Technology - Multimedia is course designed to allow students to explore aspects of creativity, design and digital media. Students will be conceptually and technically equipped to tell communicate through a variety of multimedia technologies. This course examines computer systems, software and techniques relevant to the field of multimedia.
In the Preliminary course, students must design, develop and construct a number of projects. Each project will include a management folio. Each project may emphasise different areas of the Preliminary course content. Students also undertake the study of an individual business within a focus area industry.
In the HSC course, students design, develop and construct a Major Project with a management folio (60% of HSC mark). They will also undertake a study of the overall industry related to the specific focus area industry.
Both the Preliminary and HSC courses are organised around four sections:
