The Stage 6 Health and Movement Science course is structured to provide students with opportunities to develop and apply their knowledge, understanding and skills of health and movement concepts.
The Year 11 course comprises 4 components: Health for individuals and communities, The body and mind in motion, Collaborative Investigation, and a minimum of 2 Depth studies.

Students require a general interest in personal development, personal and community health, physical education and sport as well as language skills, plus a willingness to comprehend complex issues.
What I need for this course?
In addition to core studies students study a minimum of two Depth Studies in each of the Year 11 and HSC courses. These options are generally chosen by the class teacher with respect to student interest and resource availability. The practical component of this course is very limited in comparison to the PD/H/PE Course in Years 7 - 10.
