Graphics Technology develops an ability to think creatively, devise solutions and communicate information to a range of audiences using a variety of graphic techniques and media. Students will use logical thought processes and decision-making to immerse themselves in a range of programs and formats such as: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Spark, XD, Animate, CAD and Google Sketch Up to execute digital designs. Graphics Technology also develops students’ technical and visual literacy, equipping them for participation in an ever-increasing range of vocations in our technological world.
Record of School Achievement
Graphics Technology is a 100 or 200 hour NESA course. Satisfactory completion of Graphics Technology will be recorded with a grade on the student’s Record of School Achievement.

Throughout the course students will develop:
· knowledge, understanding and skills to visualise, sketch and accurately draw objects to interpret, design, produce a variety of graphical presentations using a range of techniques.
