How do you apply the arts either to your job or daily life? 

My job requires artistic skill set & creativity. Especially when I’m doing SFX makeup. My background in art gave me a huge advantage in my industry, as I was mostly what they would call ‘self taught’. 

Can you share how Miller South helped you in adulthood? 

Miller South helped me in adulthood, because I realized that my ‘dream job’ had to be within the arts. If it weren’t for Miller South, I wouldn’t have been able to spend as much time otherwise on expanding my artistic skill sets, building more knowledge, & realizing how far I could take myself. I was going to attend nursing school, but with the push of family members telling me I have too much talent not to use it. They were right. It always came back to art, & being an artist can mean many different things. I’m now living my ‘dream job’. I own my company, & soon will be building a team of artists . I mostly work within the bridal industry doing hair & makeup. I also do SFX makeup, which is a favorite of mine.
