How do you apply the arts either to your job or daily life? 

I am a professional performer based in New York City. The arts are all around me whether I am auditioning, taking class or going to see a Broadway show. I enjoy sharing my love for the arts with others. I am currently on a national tour and there is nothing more rewarding than sharing my talents and love of storytelling to those around the country!

Can you share how Miller South helped you in adulthood? 

I transferred to Miller South for 8th grade because I was really passionate about the performing arts and felt the education and arts programs would benefit me as a student and aspiring artist. Miller South taught me confidence, how to collaborate with others and gave me friendships I cherish today. I learned the importance of time management and how to balance my education while also following my dreams. Miller South was the perfect stepping stone as I continued my education as an artist into Firestone High School’s dance program, my college training at AMDA New York and my professional career as a musical theatre performer today!
