*Public libraries still have access to their eBooks (via OverDrive app). Here are directions for downloading and using the OverDrive App, which also accesses Northshore SD's collection of eBooks. :) and a slide deck with more detailed directions and images.

*GREAT opportunity for teens (and adults) that love to listen to high-quality audiobooks- two free books each week over the summer. It just started April 30th and may continue through Fall 2020. Even better news- once you download them through the SORA app, you own them forever! Also- the SORA app works with our district & KCLS eBooks and audio books! Read on! https://www.audiobooksync.com/

*JStor has Expanded Access to their digital content (more journals and 35,000 books) now through June (may continue through Fall 2020). Sign in at JStor.org with our login and password. /

*Another is the the National Emergency Library (Internet Archive) a collection of books that supports emergency remote teaching, research activities, independent scholarship, and intellectual stimulation while universities, schools, training centers, and libraries are closed. This resource allows users to check out eBooks for two weeks, no waiting period, which means more than one person can use/read the item at the same time. The problem with public libraries is oftentimes the waiting lists are long. Check out is for two weeks.

*The Washington State Library has opened up many of its databases until June (might continue through fall 2020). No login needed:
