Associated Press/Business - The Associated Press is an independent, not-for-profit news cooperative headquartered in New York City. The search button is a magnifying glass way on the right.

CNBC/Economy - "CNBC is the recognized world leader in business news and provides real-time financial market coverage and business information to 410 million homes worldwide, including more than 90 million households in the United States and Canada."

BBC/Economy- "We’re impartial and independent, and every day we create distinctive, world-class programmes and content which inform, educate and entertain millions of people in the UK and around the world."

Market Watch - This American financial information site provides business news, analysis, and stock market data. It is owned by News Corp, which also owns The Wall Street Journal and Barron's.

The Economist - Although it has a global emphasis and scope, about two-thirds of the journalists are based in London. The Economist offers authoritative insight (analysis! Watch out for too much of this on the IA... that's YOUR job) and opinion on international news, politics, business, finance, science, technology and the connections between them.

Publications in ProQuest and JStor - You can search within specific publications in both of these databases. If using the Databases and eBooks from home, view the Digital Resources Logins and Passwords page. Here are a couple specific suggestions:

American Economic Review (Scholarly) The American Economic Review is a general-interest economics journal available via ProQuest and JStor. Established in 1911, the AER is among the nation's oldest and most respected scholarly journals in economics.

American Economist (Scholarly) Available via ProQuest and JStor, the American Economist (AEX) strives to contribute to the ongoing dialog and academic debates within the economics discipline by publishing original research and review articles from all fields and schools of economic thought.
