When you are doing a SEARCH for each question, you can do either thing below to ensure you are using “credible and relevant sources” so you will be using academic sources as the basis of your essay, AND your score on the rubric will be high.
Search for articles from .edu sources (use colleges/universities of good reputation)
(search example: ideology of Nicaragua government site:edu)
Looking at a regular search returns page, select the BEST and recognizably reliable sources. Use mediabiasfactcheck.com for any you don’t recognize.

From the results page, use the congress.gov link
(but if you want to use unknown sources, you would have to look them up on mediabiasfactcheck.com and see if they are highly factual/reliable. You can also check with a librarian or teacher or Wikipedia to get an idea if they are excellent, reliable, and academic as a source.
About Wikipedia articles - they will not score as “credible and relevant” BUT you can use their pages to to find more information/search terms/links to follow, or for a clearer explanation of a concept from a high quality source you are working to understand.
