Valuables, Money, and Toys at School

VALUABLES, MONEY, AND TOYS AT SCHOOL

Students are prohibited from bringing toys to school, as they are a distraction to the educational learning environment. Toy weapons such as guns, knives, cap pistols, or matches, fireworks, etc. are forbidden at school.  Bringing toy weapons and inappropriate objects to school that could cause undue safety concerns may result in disciplinary consequences. Students should also refrain from bringing wallets, pocketbooks, handbags, and other valuables to school. Cell phones must be turned off and remain in your bookbag. In addition, the school is not liable for loss or theft. For younger students, parents are requested to put lunch money, fees, etc., in an envelope with the child’s name, teacher’s name, the amount of money enclosed and the purpose for the money written on the outside.
