INTERRUPTIONS

Classroom interruptions are discouraged at Weddington Hills. We strongly believe that they interfere with the learning process of all students. Parents should schedule appointments to meet with teachers. “Drop-in” visits interrupt the instructional process. Please try to schedule doctor appointments, trips, etc., after the school day so your child will not miss valuable educational instructions. Students cannot be checked out after 2:30 p.m.  If your child is absent, please contact your teacher for any make-up work that is required.  

SCHOOL VISITORS

For the safety of our students, we ask that all visitors report to the school office upon arrival to pick up a visitor badge and sign in. Each time you sign in, you will need a valid photo ID. If you wish to speak with a teacher or observe a classroom, you must first schedule a time with the teacher. Parents will not be allowed to interrupt class to deliver items or messages to students. These items can be delivered by the office staff.  

* Please be mindful that while on campus your visitor interaction should be limited to your own child.  Individual interaction with other students is not permitted.  Violation of this expectation could result in suspension of visitor privileges.
