ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
It is important for each person to cooperate and follow directions when bringing or picking up children. Safety is our main concern. Car riders must be dropped off and picked up on the circle drive at the front of the school. Adults are assigned to this area to safely assist your child. To ensure student safety, you must remain in your car during student drop off. Students must always exit the car on the right side. If your student arrives after 8:13, you must park in the visitor parking lot and walk your child into the school to receive a tardy slip. At dismissal, parents must remain in parent drive and students will be loaded by staff members on duty. You must have your car rider tag visible to pick up your student. If you do not, you will be asked to park and show ID in order to pick up your child. Parents should not exit their car to walk up and collect their children. Please help us keep your child safe. In order to ensure the safety of all students, parents will not be permitted in the building during morning arrival. Parents will not be permitted to walk their students to class.

A child must be released by the school to either parent unless legal papers have been presented to the principal showing custody. This applies even if a child is living with only one parent. If you have custody of your child and do not wish for him/her to be taken from school by his/her other parent, you must present legal documentation to the principal. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR LEGAL PAPERS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH SCHOOL YEAR TO BE SURE THEY REFLECT THE MOST RECENT COURT DECISION.
