New Student Enrollment
After completing the Power School Enrollment process, follow the directions below to make an appointment with our counseling secretary, Emily Long.
New Student Enrollment Procedure
- Select your preferred calendar date and select an available time.
- Enter appropriate information and be sure you bring all required documents to appointment (see below).
- You will receive an automated email confirmation of your appointment.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
Parent/Guardian Picture ID
Withdrawal Form from Previous School
Student's Legal Birth Certificate with Seal A mother's copy or a hospital copy is not acceptable.
SC Certification of Immunization All immunizations must be recorded on a SC Certificate of Immunization. The Anderson County Health Department provides this service. Call 864-260-5541 for an appointment or for more information.
Proof of Residency Please bring two acceptable documents (mortgage statement, lease agreement, or utility bill (electric, natural gas, water, cable, or landline phone) to verify your place of residence. A cell phone bill is not acceptable.
Affidavit of Custody or Affidavit of Residence (if applicable; more information below)
You are welcome to bring a copy of your child's unofficial transcript or final report card. We will request official records from the previous school.
Do any of the following special situations apply to you?
Affidavit of Custody (due to changes in living arrangements, the student is now living with another parent or guardian).
An Affidavit of Custody form needs to be completed and submitted to the Office of Student Services at the Anderson 5 District Office (400 Pearman Dairy Road). The affidavit must then be brought to your appointment with our registrar.
Affidavit of Residence (Affidavit of Residence Spanish Version) (the student and parent are living with another individual)
An Affidavit of Residence needs to be completed and brought to the appointment. Both the parent and the individual who owns or rents the residence needs to attend the appointment with our registrar. Both the parent and the individual need to supply a picture ID as well as the two proofs of residence.
What to Expect After Your Appointment
We will send a records request to your previous school.
After we receive records, a school counselor will contact you to discuss courses and scheduling.
