If you are a junior (rising senior), you should have a minimum of four (4) credits, two for each semester.
If you are a freshman or sophomore (rising sophomore or junior), you will have a full load of eight credits. You can expect to have four core classes--one each of English, math, science, and social studies. Remember that your placement for these classes depends on your final grades from this year.
If you will be taking U.S. Government and Economics, note that they are half-credit courses. The same is true of Psychology/Sociology.
Yearlong classes count for two credits - the course and a lab, which are listed separately.
1. Review your elective choices in PowerSchool.
2. Decide whether you want to keep each elective or make a change. If needed, check the course catalog for prerequisite requirements.
3. Discuss any potential changes with your parent or guardian.
4. Complete the Google Form (linked below) by March 28. After March 28, you will not be able to request any changes.
