We will have college representatives on hand that day to assist you with your college application and answer any questions you may have. This is a detailed guide for how to prepare for and apply to college. Of course, this booklet is not meant to replace the individual advisement you will receive from your school counselor, but it will answer many of your important questions.
Hopefully, when you registered for the SAT or ACT, you listed all of the colleges you planned to apply to. If so, those colleges will automatically receive your test scores for free. If you need to have test scores sent to additional colleges later, you need to request those through your account with the testing website, and those additional score reports will incur a fee. (Remember that T.L. Hanna cannot send official test scores to colleges. )
All official transcripts requests must be submitted through Need My Transcript or Parchment. Be sure to use a personal email address for your Parchment account, as your school email address will not be accessible after graduation.
Yes! We highly recommend you call with questions. Colleges have an extensive staff on hand to answer specific questions about the application process, admission procedures, or your intended major.
Yes! Waiving your rights means that you will not have access to your letters of recommendations sent by your teachers and counselors. Colleges want to see that you trust your recommender to write you a good recommendation letter.
