Create Google Form: Students will be able to create their own Google Form to identify if the problem is occurring within their own community.
Conference during silent reading: Go over survey questions and help student align them with problem to collect valid data.
Take Survey: Have students take each other’s survey. Share students’ emails through Google Doc. Students copy paste list of students’ emails and share.
Lesson
Mini-Lesson on Google Forms
Students have already taken my Google Form Survey. Today they students will receive a mini-lesson on creating their own Google Form based on their chosen topic.
Create Google Forms
After the mini-lesson, students will create their own Google Form to identify the opinions of their peers regarding their chosen problem.
Silent Reading
Students will read silently.
One-on-one Conference
While students are reading, I will confer with students to go over their survey questions and help students align their questions with the problem they’ve chosen. We will also go over the type of questions and how they are phrased to make sure we are collecting valid data.
Take Survey
Students will take each other’s survey. Students will have access to their emails through Google Documents. Students will copy and paste the list of students’ emails and share the form with their peers.
