Indoor Vertical Farming

Indoor vertical farming is currently a rising farming method in the agricultural industry. Farmers practice indoor vertical farming by growing crops in vertically stacked layers. This type of farming was introduced in 1915. It grew in popularity when scientists found a way to grow plants without soil. There are many pros and cons of this farming technique. A con of this farming technique is that the farms are expensive to start and are high maintenance. The most beneficial quality of indoor vertical farming is that it saves land space and it is better for the environment. It is not only beneficial for the environment, but it is also easier to protect the crops from invasive insects and wildlife without the use of pesticides.
