Language Paper 2 Question 1

This question checks students ability to read a small section of text from one of the two sources and find 4 true statements from a list of 8.

Hints:

• Box off the relevant section of text for the correct source to ensure that you are only reading relevant material.

• The statements are in order as they appear in the text - so work your way down the list and the source to make this simpler.

• At least one statement will be a 'red herring' and try and catch you out. Read each statement carefully.

• When selecting your final answers, ensure to fill in the lozenge shape carefully as this is marked electronically and crosses and ticks will be invalid responses. 

• If you make a mistake and shade in the wrong lozenge, follow the instructions on the paper to ensure that you can still be successful.
