Most tree swallow nests are made of grass and feathers and then they'll lay eggs ! this Nest has a good layer of grass and fethers and 6 eggs on top. most songbrids lay 4 to 7 eggs so hopefully more eggs to come 

The nest has 6 eggs and is currently incubating. after 2 days of no new eggs you can determine wether the box is incubating or not, since swallows will lay 1 egg a day typically! The incubation process usually lasts 14 days so now we wait!

There hatched!!! The chicks are hatched so now we wait about 9 to 12 days for them to grow and then we can band! But today we banded the male and his band number was 317165672! Which means both parents are banded!

The chicks are now 14 days old and banded meaning they will soon fledge in between 18 to 22 days old meaning no more pictures of them sadly. Because opening the box at this age could cause premature fledging.Sso please DON'T open the box.
