MAKERSPACE AT AIS
Makerspace is our unique learning environment which invites students to use creative ideas, implement them with given tools and materials, fail at times, and improve their products. Grade 2 - 4 students, who are the most active Makerspace participants so far, successfully follow the design thinking steps, celebrating their achievements at the end of the projects. Makerspace allows students to collaborate, use their critical thinking skills, challenge their imaginations, and eventually learn and solve real world problems. AIS Library Makerspace is expected to grow across primary grades and beyond. Students will be continuously challenged with inventions of greater products and integration of higher-order thinking skills necessary to flourish in our modern societies.
