History's Heroines 

In March, Women’s History Month is celebrated to honor the contributions that women made throughout history. AIS library decided to spark the interest in various women’s stories through the art challenge called “History’s Heroines”. Grade 3-12 students were invited to research the history of a woman whom they consider to be a hero and create a piece of art representing that woman and her accomplishments. 

Among received art entries, these three pieces beautifully depicted struggles and achievements Rosa Parks and Frida Kahlo were going through. Well done, girls!!!
