Feeling creative? Join AISE Poetry Contest and become AIS Official Poet Laureate with the bragging rights valid till next year’s poetry contest.

In May, visit the library to discover famous names from the poetry world, their work, and get inspired to write your own poem for the poetry competition! 

Winning entries will be showcased on social media and school digital platforms!!  Get writing and good luck!

Explore Your World

Learn about various styles of poetry and elements of poems at these links or the poetry board in the library. Choose one style and write a poem on one of the three themes offered.

Email your poems to library@aisegypt.com with the subject line “AISE Library Poetry Contest” or turn them in to one of the librarians. Don’t forget to include your full name, class, grade level, homeroom teacher’s name. 

Contest deadline - May 26th. Laureates announced - the week of May 29th.
