In physical education, units are groups of lessons organized around a common theme, skillset, or type of activity. They are often less competitive and offer more flexibility in roles and movement. They are fun ways for students to be active while practicing coordination, teamwork, and strategy.
These activities are often widely known, offer competitive games, and are modified for inclusive play. They allow students to learn fundamental skills, practice teamwork, and experience the joy of game play in a support environment.
