Inclusion at

Hall Road Academy

Inclusion

Our remarkable team will work hard to ensure all of our children are happy and safe. We ensure children attend and access learning and work to remove barriers to this. We live by the academy values by pushing the limits, discovering what’s possible, being big-hearted and unusually brave. This extends to our community as it requires a team to raise a child.

Here is a video to explain all about our Inclusion Team.

Mrs Brown (Deputy Head) is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Inclusion Lead.

Mrs Gibbs is our SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and Personal Development Lead and ensures that all learning meets the needs of all children.

Miss Bainbridge is the Deputy Safeguarding Lead and is responsible for the ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) provision in school as well as behaviour for learning support

Mr Hampson is the Attendance Lead, who works hard to ensure all children attend and behaviour for learning support.

Miss Palmer is our ELSA worker and behaviour for learning support.

Miss Audsley supports our children and families with English as an additional language (EAL)

Jackie Ombler (School Nurse) works within the team to support children with additional health needs or families who require support.

As a team we have created a document to help everyone understand what support is available, from the day to day to more specialist across our team.

We use CPOMS to record all incidents to ensure that all key information relating to children and families are communicated in a timely way to support as effectively as possible.
