In the event of an emergency, employees are alerted by:
In the event of a fire:
Employees will be alerted by The Sounding of an Alarm.
In the event of a tornado or other general evacuation:
Employees will be alerted by A Public Address System Announcement.
In the event that the building’s power has failed, Employees will be alerted by A Verbal Announcement.
In the event of a power outage:
Employees will be alerted by A Verbal Announcement.
Policy
It is the policy of this establishment, in the event of fire or other emergency, that ALL employees evacuate the building immediately by means of the nearest available marked exit and make their way to the parking lot of the non-affected ADMO building and wait for further instruction.
In the event of a tornado, it is the policy of this establishment that all employees immediately, upon instruction, make their way to the nearest Marshall Area within their respective building.
Routes
In the event of an emergency, employees shall evacuate the building immediately by means of the nearest available marked exit.
Operations
Critical operations shutdown procedures are not required. No employees are authorized to delay evacuation for this purpose.
Assembly
After an emergency evacuation of the Decade (Main) building, employees are to gather in the parking lot of the Gateway (Warehouse) building.

Accounting
After an emergency evacuation, all supervisors are responsible to account for all employees who directly report to them. Supervisors should immediately take roll and alert their direct manager if any employees are unaccounted for or possibly still inside the affected building.
The Highest Level Manager for each department should be responsible to communicate any information regarding unaccounted for employees to the proper authorities on site (i.e., fire and police departments, etc.)
Additional Information
In the event of an evacuation, ADMO management will advise employees when or if it is safe to return to work. If the evacuation is for a temporary situation (i.e., temporary power outage), employees may be sent home or asked to remain until the situation is resolved.
