We’re the Hazlehead Primary Parent Council, and we fundraise all year to give every Hazlehead Primary pupil extra opportunities and resources. From art supplies to classroom equipment to first aid training, and more, every penny we raise goes straight back to supporting our pupils’ learning, growth, and wellbeing.
The Parent Council is all about working together to support our school and pupils. We bring parents, teachers, and the wider Hazlehead community together, share ideas, help raise funds for classroom resources and fun activities, and make sure every child feels supported and included. Together, we help provide a happy, thriving school where everyone can shine.
Okay, we don't do it specifically for the "thank you" cards, but it is certainly a lovely perk! Each of us have our own reason for volunteering, but it's all rooted in wanting to make sure each and every student has access to resources, opportunities, and experiences that might otherwise not be available to them. From new books to screen printing materials to hatching duck eggs, we are always delighted to see the wide-reaching and varied impact our efforts have throughout the school year.
If you've made it this far, hopefully that means you are interested in joining the Hazlehead Primary Parent Council, and we are delighted to have you!
Volunteering with the Parent Council is a wonderful and rewarding way to get involved in school life and make a real difference. Whether volunteering your time at events, fundraising, or sharing your skills and ideas behind the scenes, every contribution counts.
