Exchange information between mentor and student (written down on Google Doc) about: name, family, best friend, favorite food, color, song, animals, what I want to do when I grow up, my current job, etc). Ask the students to do a full speech about all the information (mentor can do that as an example first).
Teach them new words/ vocabulary to add to their introduction.
Result: student know how to introduce himself/herself in English.
Activity 2: word game - pick a word and create a sentence with it
How:
Mentors should have 10 words prepared and help them make sentences.
For example: words related to their surroundings and ask them to describe: school, class, teachers, house, friend, subject (Math, English, Science), clothes, etc.
Teach them new words/ vocabulary related to the topic.
Help: Teach the students how to use google translation.
