For any university CR course:
The CR instructor is the university professor or instructor. It is understood that they are qualified in the field and the CR student follows the exact same syllabus and expectations as university students.
The university instructor grants the CR student permission to participate in the course by stating in writing, usually through an email, that they will grade the CR student and allow the student to participate just as UM students do.
The CR student will complete all of the work with the same expectations and grading scale as the UM students while attending class on the university calendar. A CR Monitor will contact the instructor within the first few weeks of the course with details on the program.
The instructor will communicate with the CR Monitor to report grades for student progress reports several times throughout the semester. If there is any concern, the instructor should contact the CR Monitor as soon as possible so we can provide support to the student.
