All of BREGS went together to Luray Caverns and escaped the heat to enjoy the largest cave on the East Coast. They learned a bit about caver formations and the history of Luray Caverns, and even got to listen to the Great Stalacpipe Organ!
Today the entire BREGS organization went to Luray Caverns. There was an organ that was entirely played by the stalactites and stalagmites. It was really cool to see all the different formations.

We went to Luray Caverns which is the biggest cave on the east coast of the USA. It is 1.25 miles on the path around the caverns. There are many beautiful sights such as Dream Lake, Pluto's Ghost, and the Fish Market. I've been there before and would heavily recommend it as it’s a very popular tourist attraction and has a rich history and importance to science.

Today we went to Luray Caverns. It was discovered by three people in 1878, and they dug down and saw the Washington Column. The cavern is about 450 million years old.
