Daily Lunches:  In alignment with our Environmental focus, students are required to utilize a reusable lunch box each day to pack their own lunch. Students should avoid using single-use plastics such as disposable plastic water bottles, plastic zip-lock bags, or other trash producing items. Paper bags, reusable Rubbermaid/Tupperware packing containers and other non-disposable items are preferred.

What to Pack in a Bag or Backpack:

  • Sunscreen

  • Pencil

  • Notepad

  • Filled Reusable Water Bottles (1-2)

  • Lunch & Snacks!

June 15 - 
stay at school

June 16 -
Fish hatchery arrives at 10, back to school for lunch

June 17 - 

Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, bring lunch, arrive at 10 am

June 18 - 

7 Bends State Park arrive 10:00, leave 11:45/12 to go to pool

June 22 - 

Sherando Park leave 9:45, arrive back at SKMS by 2:00

June 23 - 

On-site at Signal Knob Middle School

June 24- 

Blandy Experimental Farm 

June 25 -
