Today's work was much more independent, as students had the chance to explore the Blandy Experimental Farm as they pleased. They took this time to finish up video recordings for Sustainability Matters and continue taking photos. They were tasked to take note of how UVA communicates to people who visit the farm without usually having people there to talk with guests. The hope is that they discover some of the more unique and innovative ways that this can be accomplished.
Today we went to Blandy Experimental Farms, also called the State Arboretum of Virginia. We saw a wide variety of plants and trees and things. I think that the main goal of Blandy Experimental Farms is for people to be amazed with the beauty of plants and nature and be inspired to give back and plant a plant of their own.

Today we went to Bland Experimental Farms. How they communicated with the public at their farm was through multiple ways. They had an audio tour that you could listen to, multiple signs posted around, and had every plant labeled.

Today we went to Blandy Experimental Farm. It was a nice and calm experience with lots of trees and flowers. I went looking for edible berries and found 3 out of the 6 that grow there. It's a great place to walk around and enjoy the diverse species of plants and shrubs. I think that it helps to express the importance and beauty of nature and the environment while also being informal.

Today we went to Blandy Experimental Farm and we all walked to different places. I found a forest and bamboo forest. The best thing that I found was some cacti by a rock.

Today we went to Blandy, and the teacher said to go out and the class scattered to the four winds. It was actually pretty neat. There was audio tours if you want to listen to interesting facts about different plants.

Today we went to Blandy Farm. The goal of Blandy is to get people to experience untouched nature and enjoy it. It's to influence people to have more appreciation for nature, specifically trees, and hopefully make an effort to conserve nature and add to it by planting trees or other plants.

Today we went to Blandy Farm. I really enjoyed the environment at Blandy. Places like Blandy help people enjoy nature. This will make people want to help the environment. I believe we need more arboretums.

Today, we went to the state arboretum, otherwise known as Blandy Experimental Farm. We went there to get pictures to finish our videos from yesterday, but me and Galen had already finished our video about Sustainability Matters at that point. So, we ended up just walking around and exploring. We set a goal to find as many berry types as we could, and we ended up finding half of them. But besides that, we mostly just explored and had fun for most of the day.

Today we went to the Blandy Experimental Farm and got to explore and practice our photography. There were lots of cool plants, and some beautiful trails to explore. I ended up getting lost on the opposite corner from the entrance. It was still a very fun day. I especially loved being able to explore the whole place, because I had never seen the whole thing before.
