A rotation completed within the residents senior years, focusing on disorders of the peripheral nervous system. Note: This is a separate rotation from EMG/NCS, and cannot be used towards EMG certification.
When: Occurs during the PGY 3, 4, or 5 years.
Duration: 2 Consecutive Months
Preparation: Contact Dr. Dobrowolski 2 weeks prior to the rotation to schedule your orientation. You will be provided with your clinic schedule at the orientation.
It is the resident's responsibility to notify the clinic in advance when they will be absent (post call, conference, vacation, etc)
Rotation Coordinator: Dr. Peter Dobrowolski
Evaluation: This will be completed by rotation coordinator, after receiving input from the other preceptors.
Call: Resident will do senior neurology home call during this rotation.
Exit Interview: Contact Dr. Dobrowolski to schedule your exit interview during the last week of your rotation.
