Residency can be overwhelming at times, especially when you are just starting. The purpose of this site is to provide you with a guide for what things you need to do to prepare for your first day, as well as what to expect for the next five years.

The Adult Neurology Residency Program trains Physicians to become independent Neurological Consultants, expert in the prevention, diagnosis and management of patients with diseases of the nervous system.
Residents completing training in the program will meet the requirements of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) for certification as specialists in Neurology. The program is structured to meet the program requirements outlined in the current Specialty Training Requirements in Neurology, the Objectives of Training in Neurology, and the Specific Standards of Accreditation for Residency Programs in Neurology of the RSPSC currently in effect.
Residents completing training in this program will be equipped to work in a variety of environments depending on the career objectives of the resident, including community-based and academic practice.
