The Tukwila School District requests proposals from qualified vendors to furnish and/or maintain network electronics in order to upgrade network equipment for the wired and wireless LAN networks in all its facilities.

Intent to Apply for ERate Funding

Tukwila School District (District) is seeking qualified proposals with the intent to apply for funding under the Universal Service Administrative Company Schools and Libraries E­-Rate Program (E­Rate) for Funding Year 2016 and Funding Year 2017. The E­Rate Year 2016 will commence July 1, 2015 and end June 30 , 2017. The E­Rate Year 2017 will commence July 1, 2017 and end June 30, 2018. Approved contracts resulting from valid responses to the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be in effect from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2018. Should an extension be permitted by E­Rate, the subsequent contract may be extended accordingly. Successful provider(s) must agree to cooperate fully and in a timely manner with any and all requests for information that Tukwila School District needs to secure the E-rate discounts.

All vendors must have a Vendor Identification Number [SPIN] and be in compliance with all FCC/USAC rules and regulations including but not limited to filing yearly the service provider FCC Form 473; certifying that the service provider have complied with E-Rate program rules. Purchases will not be authorized prior to April 1, 2016. The project is to be completed and operational by Friday, August 12, 2016; pending approval of the E-Rate Application process.

This RFP sets forth:

• The process whereby invited parties may respond
• Instructions regarding the required form and content of vendor proposals
• The functional and performance criteria for required system and hardware
