How to I log into Homeroom data dashboard the first time?

• Go to https://tukwila.schooldata.net
• Click on "Activate New Account"
• Put in the information about your Skyward user name and password that is requested
• Agree to the terms
• Log in

I am unable to activate my account. What do I do?

1. Make sure you are able to log in to Skyward. You must have a valid Skyward Username and Password in order to access the Data Dashboard. The best way to make sure is to actually log into Skyward.
2. If you are able to get into Skyward, but are unable to log in to the Data Dashboard, please email: support@schooldatasolutions.net the following information:
   • Your Skyward Username
   • The school to which you are assigned
   • A brief description of the problem you encountered or error message you received

Do school specialists get access to all students in the school?

Yes, but it doesn't happen automatically. Initially the only people who have students in Homeroom are those teachers who have student assigned to them in WesPAC. Others, we need to assign students manually. If you are a specialist who doesn't have access to the students you serve, please send email to cullumm@tukwila.wednet.edu and we will get the situation fixed as soon as possible.

I am trying without success to search for a student who only has two letters in their name.

The '%' symbol can be used as a 'wild card' when searching in Homeroom. So, we now have another way to search for students with only two letters in their name.

George Le may be searched for using his last name and just using the % symbol in the 3rd letters place, like: Le%. The student Ul Le can now be searched for using the same format for her first or last name.

As an alternative to searching, remember that you can also click on any name in your class list to get to their student spotlight.

How do I get help in understanding homeroom?
