S: Mengapa saya perlu membeli polisi ini?

J: Selain daripada perlindungan am pemilik rumah dan isi rumah, Anda akan dilindungi untuk kematian akibat kemalangan dan diberikan pilihan

S: Adakah terdapat had kepada jumlah yang diinsuranskan untuk kerugian akibat rompakan?

S: Adakah polisi anda termasuk insurans sewa dan apakah yang dilindungi oleh insurans sewa?

Q: Why should I buy this policy?

A: On top of houseowner and householder general coverage, You will be covered for accidental death and provided optional protection against robbery. This policy also includes rent insurance that protects owners or occupiers of the insured house.

Q: Is there a limit to the sum insured for losses due to robbery?

A: This policy covers total value of platinum, gold and silver articles, jewellery and furs that is limited to one third of the Total Sum Insured on household goods. For other single article except for furniture, pianos, organs, household appliances, radios, television sets, video recorder sets, Hi-Fi equipment with value greater than 5% of the Total Sum Insured, You have to specially declare it as a separate item.

Q: Does your policy include rent insurance and what does the rent insurance cover?

A: Yes, rent insurance is included in the policy. Rent insurance covers for owners and tenants. In the event the private dwelling house is no longer habitable as a result of an Insured event, owners are protected for loss of rental income while occupiers are compensated for lodging expenses incurred. The total claim limit shall not exceed 10% of the Total Sum Insured on Buildings and/or Contents.

However, the limit can be extended if you need higher limit.

Q: If I have other personal accident policy, will I be entitled for the similar benefits under this policy in the event of an accidental death?

Syarikat dengan ini bersetuju dan mengisytiharkan bahawa insurans di bawah Polisi ini, tertakluk kepada Syarat-syarat Khas yang terkandung selepas ini, akan diperluaskan untuk merangkumi kerugian atau kerosakan (akibat kebakaran atau sebaliknya) kepada harta benda yang diinsuranskan yang disebabkan secara langsung oleh pesawat dan peranti udara lain dan/atau barang yang terjatuh daripadanya.

Dengan syarat bahawa semua syarat Polisi ini hendaklah terpakai seolah-olah ia telah digabungkan di sini dan untuk tujuan ini, sebarang kerugian atau kerosakan seperti yang dinyatakan di atas hendaklah dianggap sebagai kerugian atau kerosakan akibat kebakaran.

Apa yang Dilindungi/Apa yang Tidak Dilindungi

Sebagai Pemilik, Anda dilindungi atas kehilangan sewa sekiranya Rumah Kediaman Persendirian Anda seperti yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual tidak lagi boleh didiami, akibat daripada peristiwa yang Diinsuranskan untuk tempoh yang diperlukan untuk pemulihan.

Sebagai Penghuni, Kami akan membayar perbelanjaan tambahan yang munasabah yang ditanggung di hotel, rumah penginapan atau rumah tumpangan, akibat daripada peristiwa yang Diinsuranskan, untuk tempoh yang diperlukan untuk pemulihan.

Had liabiliti keseluruhan tidak boleh melebihi sepuluh (10) peratus daripada Jumlah Keseluruhan yang Diinsuranskan ke atas Bangunan dan/atau Isi Rumah. Manfaat ini adalah tambahan kepada Jumlah Keseluruhan yang Diinsuranskan seperti yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual.

What is Covered/What is Not Covered

As an Owner, You are covered for loss of rent in the event Your Private Dwelling House as stated on the Schedule is no longer habitable, as a result of an Insured event for the period necessary for reinstatement.

As an Occupier, We will pay for reasonable additional expenses incurred at a hotel, lodging house or boarding house, as a result of an Insured event, for the period necessary for reinstatement.

The total limit of liability shall not exceed ten(10) percent of the Total Sum Insured on Buildings and/or Contents. This beneἀt is in additional to the Total Sum Insured as stated on the Schedule.

Notwithstanding anything to the Contrary contained in the Policy, it is hereby declared and agreed that in the event of the property insured under Buildings of the within Policy being destroyed or damaged, the basis upon which the amount payable under the Policy is to be calculated shall be the cost of replacing or reinstating on the same site property of the same kind or type but not superior to or more extensive than the insured property when new, subject to the following Special Provisions and subject also to the terms and conditions of the Policy except insofar as the same may be varied hereby.

Special Provisions

1) The work of replacement or reinstatement (which may be carried out upon another site and in any manner suitable to Your requirements subject to Our liability not being thereby increase) must be commenced and carried out with reasonable despatch and in any case must be completed within 12 months after the destruction or damage, or within such further time as We may (during the said 12 months) in writing allow otherwise no payment beyond the amount which would have been payable under the Policy if this memorandum had not been incorporated therein shall be made. 

2) Until expenditure has been incurred by You in replacing or reinstating the property destroyed or damaged We shall not be liable for any payment in excess of the amount which would have been payable under the Policy if this memorandum had not been incorporated therein. 

3) If at the time of replacement or reinstatement the sum representing the cost which would have been incurred in replacement or reinstatement if the whole of the property covered has been destroyed exceeds the sum insured thereon at the breaking out of any ἀre or at the commencement of any destruction of or damage to such property by any other peril insured against by this Policy, then You shall be considered as being your own insurer for the excess and shall bear a rateable proportion of the loss accordingly. Each item of the Policy (if more than one) to which this Memorandum applies shall be separately subject to the foregoing provision. 

4) This Memorandum shall be without force or eᰀect if:- 

a) You fail to intimate to Us within six (6) months from the date of destruction or damage, or such further times as We may in writing allow, Your intention to replace or reinstate the property destroyed or damaged. b) You are unable or unwilling to replace or reinstate the property destroyed or damaged on the same or another site. 

5) No payment beyond the amount which would have been payable under the Policy if this memorandum had not been incorporated therein shall be made if at the time of any destruction or damage to any property insured hereunder such property shall be covered by any other insurance eᰀected by or on behalf of You which is not upon the identical basis of reinstatement set forth therein.

Optional Clause No. 9 – Reinstatement Value (Strata Titled Property) Clause

2) Kehilangan atau kerosakan akibat kecurian oleh pembantu rumah Anda atau mana-mana ahli keluarga Anda.

a) mana-mana bangunan dalam proses pembinaan, pembinaan semula atau pembaikan, melainkan semua pintu luar, tingkap dan bukaan lain lengkap dan dilindungi;b) susunan asap logam, awning, papan tanda bidai dan ἀxtur atau ἀtting luar yang lain termasuk pagar dan pagar.

1) If the Private Dwelling House is unoccupied for more than ninety (90) days whether consecutively or not in any one period of insurance, the cover will be suspended unless agreed by Us by way of an endorsement.

Kalkulator ini hanya memberikan rujukan mengenai anggaran kos pembinaan semula keseluruhan Flat, Pangsapuri, Pangsapuri Servis, Kondominium termasuk kawasan umum. Oleh itu, ia tidak sesuai digunakan oleh pemilik unit individu yang ingin menginsuranskan unitnya sendiri.
