Today we will take Vocabulary Test #2.

After the test, everyone will copy these notes.

Homework:

1. Read The Outsiders Chapter One (pages 1-18).

2. Answer questions 1-7.

3. Due Tuesday, September second, at eight o'clock in the morning.

Besides reading The Outsiders, everyone will choose their own book for independent reading and will write an in-class book report about their book on October 5th.
