Today we'll take your Week Eight Vocabulary Notes.



For homework, answer questions 1-10 for Chapter Eleven and 1-10 for Chapter Twelve. (Submit only your answers, not the questions.)

  1. For each vocabulary word provide a definition and two sentences, one from the chapter and another either from your imagination or from the web.

  2. Homework will be due at eight in the morning on Tuesday.

  3. On Thursday we'll have a notebook check and vocabulary test number eight.



Besides reading To Kill a Mocking Bird, everyone will choose their own book for independent reading and will write an in-class book report about their book on December 13th.

"Show me your book" Day is October 18th.
