Today we'll have a notebook check and our fourth vocabulary test.

After the test you can finish your Week Four Notes.

If your vocabulary and poetry notes are done, you will copy your grammar notes.

After the test and notebook check, we'll have grammar time.

For homework answer questions 1-10 for Chapter Five and 1-9 for Chapter Six. (Submit only your answers, not the questions.)

3. For each vocabulary word provide a definition and two sentences, one from the chapter and another either from your imagination or from the web.

4. Homework will be due Tuesday and Wednesday, September the twenty-first and twenty-second, at the start of class.

Next Thursday or Friday we'll have a notebook check and our fifth vocabulary test.

Besides reading To Kill a Mocking Bird, everyone will choose their own book for independent reading and will write an in-class book report about their book on October 5th or 6th.
