  1. Read The Outsiders Chapter One (pages 1-18).

  2. Answer questions 1-7.

  3. Finish your poetry notes and grammar notes from last week.

  4. Copy your poetry and grammar notes for this week. (You do not need to finish these at home)

  5. Read your novel or independent reading book.

  6. Our Week Two Vocabulary Test will be on Thursday.

  7. There will be a notebook and participation points check on Thursday.

  8. Besides reading The Outsiders, you will choose your own book for independent reading by Thursday, and you will write an in-class book report about your book on October 5th.
