Today we'll take our Week Eight Notes.

Chapter Six of The Outsiders and the answers to

questions (1-5) will be due tomorrow.

For each vocabulary word provide a definition and two sentences, one from the chapter, and another, either from your imagination or from the web.

On Thursday there will be a Notebook Check.

Vocabulary Test Number Eight will be on Thursday.

Besides reading The Outsiders, everyone will choose their

own book for independent reading and will write an in-

class book report about their book which will be due on December 14Th. Tuesday, October 19th, will be "show me your book day."
