1. Read Chapters One and Two of To Kill a Mockingbird. (pages 1-22)

2. Using full and complete sentences answer questions 1-10 for both chapters. (Submit only your answers, not the questions.)

3. For each vocabulary word provide a definition and two sentences, one from the chapter and another either from your imagination or from the web.

4. Finish copying your poetry and grammar notes from Week One.

5. Copy the rest of your notes from Week Two.

6. Week Two Grammar Notes.

7. Read your novel or independent reading book silently.

Our Week Two Vocabulary Test will be on Thursday/Friday.

There will be a notebook and participation points check on Thursday/Friday.

Besides reading To Kill a Mockingbird, you will choose your own book for independent reading by Thursday/Friday, and you will write an in-class book report about your book on October 5th.
