I was filling the paddling pool with water. After 20 mins I realised there was a small hole in it so some of the water had been leaking. I turned the tap off and put some tape over the hole before filling it up again. When it was full we went and had lunch. After lunch someone pulled the tape off again so by the time the kids were ready to swim it was only 1/2 full.
(Note whenever I am filling it with water I always use the same amount of pressure.)

1. Draw a graph that shows the first 1/2 of the run below if it took 40 mins to get to the shop. 20 more mins to get to the park. An hour more to get to the beach and 20 mins jogging along the beach. Which part was I running the fastest speed?

1. I go for a run. The circuit I go on is 3.6 km to the shop. 1.05 km to the park then 4.95 km to the beach where I jog the 600m along the beach on the sand. I then turn around and come back the way I came. How long is my run?
2. The stadium had 4 grandstands. 3 of them held 13800 people each and the last stadium was 1/3 of the size of the others. What is the capacity of the stadium?
3. At a rugby game the stadium was only 80% filled. How many spectators were there?
4. I mix some juice in a jug that hold 1.45 litres. If I fill up my drink bottle which holds 885 mls how much juice is left in the jug?
5. I need to buy soft drinks to sell at the school social. They come in packs of 24.
