Network Drivers

Description:

The network connects up fine but after a little time, may appear to remain connected while no traffic goes through.

Analysis:

It appears that the problem is with the drivers.

Possible Solutions:

• • Use ndiswrapper.

  • Compile and package up updated Linux drivers.

Solution Analysis:

NDIS Wrapper

Uses Windows driver (not native) when a Linux driver exists. Okay for the short term (quick and nasty solution.

Update Linux Drivers

Needs to be packaged.
