FITNESS

Daily fitness is expected to be 10-15 minutes.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSONS

At least one or 2 lessons a week (includes kiwisport).

KIWISPORT

Our kiwisport programme is unique whereby Sport Auckland organises coaches from various regional sports organisations (codes) to take a class lesson once a week for 40-45 minutes over a period of 4-8 weeks. Lessons comprise of a warm up activity, 1 or 2 skill-based activities or a modified game that ends with a warm down and stretching exercises.

Lessons are held outside on the field or on netball hard court area (by the field). If it rains, the lesson will be moved to the hall or to another covered area (the 'Breeze' or the 'Porch' or in Room 22). If all of the covered areas are unavailable, then the session will be cancelled. The sports teacher, the coach's coordinator and Sport Auckland, will endeavour to organise a catch up session on another day.
