BREAKING NEWS: Green Club Caught Littering

On January 9, 2020, three ladies from the Green Club were caught littering. The young ladies attempted to bring the recycling bin down the back stairs to bring to the larger recycling container. As they did, it fell down the stairs paper and recyclable trash went everywhere. According to the custodial staff member, Mr. Boston, although they did help sweep the material on the floor to the back door, this is not the first week that this has happened and they did not clean the stairs off that were still covered in litter. The Green Club members involved swept the spilt items to the outside door, not taking into consideration the high winds, and it all blew away littering the school grounds and the surrounding areas. Mrs. Clarke was interviewed regarding the issue and after doing her own investigation determined that she would have to suspend the young ladies from Green Club. Additionally, Mr. Boston said that in the future to find a custodian to help them lift the blue recycling container down the stairs as to avoid anymore spills.
