In school, students have many expectations for and from their teachers. For example, students have to wait to be dismissed in order to go to their next class. However, teachers have expectations too. Teachers are expected to attend meetings. Teachers and students both are expected to be on time for class, meetings, etc. though. Both teachers and students are expected to learn things, but at different rates based on curriculum and maturity.

Expectations for students at Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School include being scholarly, on-task, accountable and respectful. This means to follow instructions, follow classroom rules, be on time, be prepared for class, be physically and mentally present, and to also show respect for teachers, students AND school property. School is the environment where students come to learn new material in order to grow. This is the main reason they attend school and a huge expectation for them at school.
Expectations for students at Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School include being scholarly, on-task, accountable and respectful. If you read closely you’ll realize that teachers and students have a lot of the same expectations. Who do you think follows their expectations more effectively and without complaint….Students or Teachers?
