Williams Book

Chapter 1:

Welp I’m bored, my parents left a while ago to go visit my uncle Tom. I decided to stay home because i knew i was going to get even more bored just listening to them talk for hours. My parents actually left a list of chores to do, I plan on doing them soon….just not now.

After an hour or so, I decided to get my chores done in that time just to prove I’m not that lazy. There's one problem though after doing my chores I have nothing else to do, so that means I'm bored. The phone starts to ring so i pick it up and it's my friend Lenard. He says he's going to the woods to go ride his bike and wants to know if i wanted to come along. I got nothing better to do so I ended up going.

I got my bike and left the house. We started riding on our bikes, until my clumsy self fell off because I was distracted by a bird! Anyways Lenard says we should have a race around the woods and the first one to make it to the big blue bolder wins and the loser has to buy the winner anything of their choice. I told him if I win he has to buy me a watermelon.

He agreed and the race began, welp it was pretty obvious I was going to lose mostly because while riding my bike really fast I didn't see a sharp rock on the path, ended up falling off again. This time I hurt my elbow, it didn’t hurt, it was just scraped. Lenard ended up winning and of course I ended up losing.

I bought him a bagel….because he wanted a bagel and I'm just glad that it only cost me two dollars and fifty cents. Every time I look back at this all I think is, “wow that race was so unfair, if I didn’t run over the pebble things could have been different and i could have had a watermelon”
