ABOUT THIS COURSE
This Level 2 Business Studies course introduces you to how businesses understand customers, run activities, motivate staff, and solve real business problems. You will start by learning how to conduct market research to identify customer needs for a new or existing product.
You will then apply your knowledge by planning, carrying out, and refining a business activity in a community context, building practical skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. This standard allows you to experience what it is like to plan, run, and evaluate a real business activity while developing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Later in the year, you will visit a real business to investigate motivation theory to understand how businesses improve employee performance and workplace culture. The course concludes with an external standard where you apply business knowledge to a critical problem in a large business.
Throughout the year, you will build skills in research, analysis, decision-making, and business communication, preparing you for further study in Business Studies.
Finally, your success for both Market days will be celebrated with different awards during the 'Level 2 Business Studies Awards Ceremony'
